La Coutère offers you all the style and authenticity you would expect from a French château, while guaranteeing you the familiarity and comfort of staying in a home from home environment. You will find yourself immersed in a truly secluded setting, discovered at the end of its own private country road, bordered by the River Save and surrounded by 30 acres of its own park and woodland on all sides.
The château sleeps up to 15 people and is decorated with antique, vintage, and contemporary furniture and art and there is plenty of room for everybody to relax and unwind. The six bedrooms are stylishly decorated, with high ceilings and new king size beds and each provides its own stunning views. Bedrooms can be adapted to your needs with single beds added to several rooms.
You will also enjoy four newly renovated bathroom suites, with an additional downstairs cloakroom. All bathrooms have showers and two also have bathtubs, with full linen and textiles provided for each room.
Families love our intimate château for its large swimming pool, the children’s outdoor play area, and the château’s acres of grounds and woodland to explore. Friends holidaying together also savour the relaxed atmosphere, eating al fresco on the terraces, and exploring the local area. Yet undoubtedly, everyone falls in love with the château’s private and secluded setting.
Don’t forget a walk to our waterfalls, for a natural swim in the clear lagoon and afterwards indulge in cooking up a feast with fresh produce from the château’s kitchen garden, in the brand-new fully equipped kitchen.
