Super séjour au château La Coutere
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au château, très spacieux, nous étions un groupe de 14 personnes avec enfants, adolescents et adultes, et tout le monde a commenté à quel point ils ont vraiment apprécié ce séjour. La piscine était impeccable et nous avons apprécié que la plupart de l’entretien ait été pris en charge par le propriétaire pendant notre semaine. Leanne et son mari étaient extrêmement accueillants et nous les remercions chaleureusement pour les œufs frais pondus par leurs poules et les légumes du jardin qu’ils nous ont gentiment offerts, nous avons été tellement touchés par leur gentillesse. Le château est incroyable, et est situé dans le cadre naturel ultime, sur sa propre route, qui est aussi privée que possible! Nous sommes même allés faire du kayak! C’était des vacances formidables pour tout le monde, nous recommandons vraiment le château à d’autres grands groupes.

We spent a week at the chateau sharing with friends (three families altogether) and we all had a brilliant time. The owners Leanne and Julian were incredibly friendly and helpful, without being intrusive, and on hand with information and help if we needed it. The chateau itself has been beautifully restored, with large, comfortable bedrooms, living spaces and outdoor terraces and seating areas. Outside, the pool area and seating at the front were also beautiful, with so much space to play football and frisbee and the games that come with the chateau. There is also a river and waterfall on the grounds within 10 minutes’ walk which was a wonderful bonus, many of us took advantage of the natural swimming too. The small village is also 10 mins walking with boulangerie and is beautifully quaint. We would definitely recommend and we hope to return soon.

Nous avons passé un moment absolument charmant pour notre séjour bed and breakfast au château. Le cadre est incroyable et nous avons eu un temps magnifique aussi. La belle suite était extrêmement confortable avec une salle de bain spacieuse. Nous avons vraiment adoré les repas et le petit déjeuner anglais cuisiné était savoureux et généreux. Nous recommandons certainement une courte pause ici et nous reviendrons

We spent four days at Chateau de la Coutere in mid-October, and as it was Autumn we didn’t expect to be spending our days sunbathing at the pool – but I guess that’s the south of France for you and it was beautiful. We were able to enjoy drinks and even most of our meals outside too. Leanne and Julian’s attention to detail was great, but even though it was bed and breakfast, it still felt really private. The location of the chateau is amazing, secluded down its private road, in the middle of the chateau estate, but with our car we were only ever 10 minutes away from the nearest town. We explored a couple of the local lakes too and went on some fabulous local walks. We loved our stay and have already told some of our friends to visit when they get the chance.

I booked Chateau de la Coutere for my 30th birthday celebrations with 11 of my friends and it turned out to be the most magical experience. Leanne was very responsive from our first contact, and very flexible with dates and arrival times, which I really appreciated. She was thoughtful throughout and communicative, and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the chateau – it was even better than the pictures! It was clean and cosy, with all the modern amenities you would need, whilst maintaining its old-world charm. It is very rural and private, so it is very peaceful. We were delighted to stay and equally devastated to leave. We are all already looking forward to returning, hopefully sooner rather than later. Thank you so much Leanne & Julian!

Beautiful castle with very nice and helpful hosts. We were more than delighted by the services and the setting! Julian and Leanne are remarkable hosts! We are delighted to have rented the place and to have spent a weekend there and recommend it 300%.
